I've done some work so far on the Reltex Case - Operations Strategy TMA C - but haven't really got to grips with it. The basic story is a die manufacturing company contracted to design and manufacture a component for an auto-component manufacturer. There are lots of issues floating around in the case but some of the key ones are different cultures, the similarities between design chain management as opposed (or in paralell) with supply chain management.
The questions i the case are pretty simple - almost begging one word answers. That probablyt isn't a good idea. I haven't got much of a strategy other than to sit down and write. I prefer a more analytical TMA which gave a simple question that you then wrote 3000 words on as opposed to a series of 10 questions that are supposed to elucidate you understanding of the learning points.
With that litte bit of self discovery off I go. The aim is to have pretty much written the whole thing up by 1730.
